Just Do It

One of the best ways to accomplish tasks when you don’t feel like doing anything is to simply just do it. It’s just like jumping into a cold pool, you don’t want to get into the cold water, but once you are in you realize it isn’t that bad. I find that when I just jump right up and start doing one thing I develop motivation to do even more.

When just doing it you can’t stop and think about it, you just need to act quickly. If you think about it you will talk yourself out of it. If you sit around avoiding getting stuff done you are just wasting time that could have been spent doing something you enjoy. As I write this article I am laying in bed avoiding getting up and getting ready. So as soon as I finish and post this I am challenging myself to jump out of bed and get my day started.

There is nothing better than feeling accomplished, so I challenge you to get up and just do it!
