My berry smoothie last week(SEE RECIPE HERE) turned out delicious so I decided to take the same ingredients and turn it into overnight oats. They were delicious and super filling. See my overnight oats guide HERE to create your own recipe.
- 1/2 Cup of Oats
- 1/4 Cup of Almond Coconut Milk
- 1 Tbsp of honey
- 1 Pinch of Salt
- Frozen berries(if you use fresh berries double the amount of milk)
- 1 Scoop Vital Proteins Strawberry Lemon
Place the oats and milk in a dish. I added less milk than I normally would because as the berries thaw they release liquid. If you are using fresh berries you can use 1/2 cup of milk. Add the honey, salt, and Vital Proteins then mix until combined. Add your desired amount and type of berries(I used strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries) and mix until combined.
Chill overnight. When you are ready to eat, you can eat cold or microwave for 1-2 minutes. I like to add yogurt after cooking it for creaminess and I add almonds for texture.
