One of the most difficult things for my eating issues is times that aren’t part of my normal routine. This weekend I will be visiting my parents, so I won’t be as in control of my food as I normally can be. This weekend will be hard for me, but I want to try to set my intentions to help myself keep on track.
One thing I plan on doing this weekend is only eating when I’m hungry and only until I’m full. I typically tend to reach for food if I’m not hungry and eat past the point of full.
Another thing I plan on doing this weekend is drinking more water. I am so bad at keeping on track with my water intake when I’m not home.
Another thing I plan on doing this weekend is not being obsessed with food. I’m typically always thinking about my next meal and start eating before I’m hungry because of that.
Affirmations can be very powerful, so I am going to use the affirmations below to follow through with my intentions this weekend.
- I will eat only when I am hungry.
- I will eat only until I am full.
- I will hydrate myself.
- There is more to life than food.
