- 2 Cups of Dates
- 3/4 Cup of Cashews
- 1/4 Cup of Peanut Butter
- 1/8 TSP of Salt
- Chocolate Chips
- Dried Cherries
- Slivered Almonds
Put the dates, cashews, peanut butter, and salt in a food processor or blender and blend until the mixture comes together.
Add the chocolate chips, dried cherries, and almonds to the mixture and stir in by hand until they are evenly distributed. If you don’t like these mix ins, you can use your favorite nuts, dried fruit, or coconut.
Press the mixture into a square dish lined with parchment paper. Let chill until the mixture is set.
Cut into pieces. I cut the mixture into 8 bars, but after trying them they are kind of rich so I recommend cutting them into 9 pieces.
