I used my Smoothie Guide to come up with the recipe for this delicious smoothie. It tastes exactly like a slice of carrot cake, but it’s healthy!
- 2-3 Carrots
- 1 Frozen Banana
- 1-2 TBSP Oats
- 1/2 Cup Almond Milk
- 1 TSP Cinnamon
- 4 Dates
- 1 Scoop of Vital Proteins
Start by blending the oats, almond milk, cinnamon, dates, and Vital Proteins together until smooth. The amounts above are just an estimate, I tend to just throw it in the blender without measuring. See the picture above for the exact amounts I used.
Next, add the carrots and blend until smooth.
Finally, break apart the frozen banana and blend until smooth. Blending the carrots and banana at separate times makes it easier to blend.
