Juice Cleanse

I have been eating poorly the last couple of days, so I decided to reset with a one day cleanse. I did 4 juices and 1 smoothie.

I started the day with an immunity shot and coffee. See recipe for my immunity shot HERE. I put it in the fridge over night to thaw.

Before my first juice I did a cardio workout. I love to workout in the morning before I eat. If I don’t workout in the morning it’s likely I may push it off and not workout later. The workout was tough, but I feel good.

This cleanse started to become difficult around the middle of the day. I started to really want solid food. It got a little bit easier, but it was still tough. If you’ve ever done a juice cleanse, you know that after a couple juices your body will start cleansing itself and you will have a strong urge to go to the bathroom. I definitely recommend a cleanse if you are backed up. It really helps the digestive system get back on track. You will also need to pee often due to the amount of fluids you are taking in.

Juice cleanses always require a lot of will power, but it’s satisfying to complete what I set my mind to.

10 am – Green Juice

12 noon – Carrot Juice

2 pm – Green Juice

4 pm – Citrus Juice

6 pm – Pineapple Spinach Smoothie
