Immune Booster Shot

With Covid-19 I decided to take my immunity booster guide one step further and share an immune booster shot recipe. If you haven’t seen my Immune Booster Guide CLICK HERE. Below I will use ingredients from my guide to create an immunity boosting shot.

Ingredients

  • 2 Lemons(peeled)
  • 2 Oranges(peeled)
  • Ginger(remove skin)
  • Turmeric
  • Black Pepper

Benefits

  • Slows growth of bacteria
  • Production of white blood cells
  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Antioxidant
  • Activates certain cells necessary for immunity
  • Enhances antibody response

Directions

Run the ginger, lemons, and oranges through a juicer. Add the turmeric and black pepper to the juice and shake until combined. If you do not have a juicer, you can use a blender. Add all the ingredients to the blender then strain any solids out.

I recommend drinking a small amount at a time as the mixture can be a little strong. This immunity shot is good for a couple days in the fridge.

PRO TIP

Because I am single I am always looking for ways to make large batches at a time and be able to take individual servings over time. Because this recipe makes more than one shot, I poured the batch into an ice cube tray and froze it. After it is frozen I move it to a container and take one out whenever I want an extra immunity boost. I thaw it in the fridge until it melts. Maybe you can even try adding it to water or sparkling water to avoid the strong flavor!
