Vacation Nutrition Log – Monday March 16th

I haven’t been sleeping well since I got here. It’s 5:30 am and I just finished a little 30 minute workout. I was up for a little bit before I even started that workout. The good thing is that today is a new day and I started on a good note so far. I’ve read that you should make your bed every morning because if you don’t do anything else that day at least you accomplished one task. So even if I don’t accomplish anything else today at least I made my bed and now I’m making sure my room is picked up. I’m feeling positive about today. I hope I can stay strong and eat only when I’m hungry. Because I’m on vacation I think I might allow myself 2 instead of 1 indulgences. Looking forward to that will hopefully help the eating when not hungry.

For breakfast I started with yogurt. I love these packs because they’re a sweet treat but also perfectly acceptable for breakfast.

For lunch I had the first of 2 sweets I planned, peanut butter m&ms. I then had a macaron and smoothie.

Everything went out the window again with dinner. I had pie a couple hours before dinner then for dinner I had more tacos than I was hungry for. I then had more dessert than needed. But tomorrow is a brand new day so I’m hoping I can stay strong

I think I need to focus on being strong by having a moment of mindfulness in the morning. Here’s to hoping that helps!
